What land can you buy in skyrim hearthfire

As far as I can remember from playing thi s game, Nenya has always been steward, and I just talked with her and the J arl, with no offer of lan d or anything else and I did not finish the Storm clock rebellion quest lin e.

So, this is very fru strating! I want the Fal kreath property since you can't do much in that ar ea of Skyrim as it is. S o I hope the author of th is article looks into thi s; if there's a glitch, I sure hope it's fixed soo n! And just out of curio usity, I wonder who Tekla is? I think Nenya says she was steward before th e young nephew Jarl.

I g uess I'll look it up else where. You have to be Thane of t hat particular hold. THEN you have the option to b uy land. I had a strange issue. Wh en i met the courier, i n ever had the letter in my inventory so i just went straight to the steward like the walkthrough said , but i come to find that the person i'm supposed to talk to according to t he letter, Tekla, is now replaced by a woman named Nenya.

I dug deeper and came to find that Nenya replaced Tekla as steward when the new Jarl took o ver. So i'm guessing i d on't have the letter in m y inventory cause Tekla i s no longer Steward.

An d this Nenya person don't even speak about selling land. So what can i pos sibly do now?? I'm assum ing my game is glitched, but even more how could t hey set up a quest revolv ing around a person who g ets replaced down the sto ryline?? My only letter was from t he steward of White Run and I was level 38 , to a dd a child's room to my h ouse there.

I received n o such letter as this art icle says. Hopefully the y'll update the article a s more info comes in. I tried waiting in my gam e in two different towns, got adoption and update furniture letter but noth ing else. I mana ged to get dawnstar too b ut can't get the last one. I am a thane and have d one all the quests and do n't owe any fines or anyt hing, and I also picked t he imperial storyline.

Once the jarl of the thre e settlements asks you he lp the people of their ho ld you can go to the stew ard and ask about buying a house. They will tell y ou there are no houses fo r sale but there is a plo t of land. My husband had been havin g trouble with this too. He kept talking to the st eward Nenya and getting n othing. He did the favors that were required for F alkreath, and when he com pleted the mission, he we nt to the Jarl. The Jarl then gave him permission to buy land and sent him back to Nenya.

Then it ga ve him the option with Ne nya to buy the land. Just be sure not to progress too far in the Civil War plotline so that this base remains operational and you can take advantage of their blacksmith to get all your building materials.

The fish hatchery is the unique feature for Windstad Manor, and it allows players to hatch their own fish within the pond next to the house. The reason that this is so useful is that fish can be used as alchemy ingredients to create a host of different potions that will be vital to the player's survival in the higher difficulties of Skyrim. Players can place either a fish or fish eggs inside of the fish hatchery and then come back a few in-game days later to find that the fish has multiplied, and they now have a bunch more ingredients that they can pick up.

This is an extremely useful feature, especially if players will be visiting Windstad Manor regularly. Some fish are very rare and hard to find in the wild.
