Can you enter cataclysm zones at 78

This new level zone will include various mission centers, terrains in different phases and mission lines, portals to micro zones in the Firelands, an all-new raid dungeon, and much more. Players will be able to access Hyjal via Moonlight and undertake a series of important missions in a historical setting and alongside some of Azeroth's most renowned heroes.

Amid an ancient rivalry for the leadership of the night elves that threatens to undermine the campaign against Deathwing, players will quickly find out that the goal of defending Nordrassil is more daunting than they imagined. To achieve their goal, players must seek the help of some very powerful allies: the Ancestors. To protect Nordrassil and recover from the devastation the fire elemental invaders are causing throughout Mount Hyjal, players must first reconquer the shrine of the wolf god Goldrinn.

The ogres surrounding the shrine will not leave peacefully, but controlling the shrine will grant players their first chance to enter the Firelands and close an important twilight portal, thus slowing the advance of the nearby Twilight's Hammer in Hyjal.

With the first portal dismantled, soon the spirit of the wild Aessina will be looking for players to help clean and heal the nearby forest, so that the land can finally return to its former splendor.

However, this small victory will not be enough to stop the Twilight Remnants from attempting to set the forest on fire once more. Thus, as you fight to keep these enemies in check, you will also need the help of the Guardians of Hyjal, a new neutral faction of druids and worshipers of the Ancestors, in order to repopulate the forest with animal life.

Malorne is even rumored to have been seen in the wild. Maybe something else needs to be investigated Twilight Highlands. Tol Barad. Tol Barad Peninsula. Molten Front. Jade Forest. Krasarang Wilds. Mount Hyjal and Vashj'ir, the two opening zones of the expansion, will now require level 80 to enter and begin questing in. Betas go through a lot of balance and experience tweaking, and this new change hints at some issues with the previous leveling curve. In addition, creatures' health pools have been increased with the new level restrictions, and level 80 is required to use the dungeon finder for the opening 5-man instances of the expansion, Throne of the Tides and Blackrock Caverns.

Nethaera -- Upcoming Level and Zone Changes. In the next beta build the minimum level for entering and questing in Mount Hyjal and Vashj'ir will change from level 78 to level All associated creature will have their levels increased to match the new flow. The new hit point values are roughly double their previous values. Now Hogger has been beefed up: he has a place to live, special dialogues and abilities, and you don't kill him anymore, he is captured by powerful Stormwind guards.

Is it still memorable? I very much doubt it All the game is the same, now: everything is spectacular, but nothing is particularly above or under the rest. You can cruise through the whole content on auto-pilot, worrying about nothing: you always know where to go, your equipment is always adequate and quite pretty , your'e sure never to meet a challenge that is not perfectly suited to your level, the quest tracking displays huge arrows on your map in case you get lost, etc, etc Is it a universe anymore?

No it looks more than ever just like a theme park. Is it a game anymore? Since there is absolutely no difficulty or choices, no I would say it's mere interactive content. But maybe it's just what games are becoming these days. It might just be me who's getting older Last edited by solendil on Wed Dec 22, pm.

World of Warcraft is a game that can't ever be finished, and this is a fact a lot of players struggle with. Many users eventually become satisfied with their achievements, literal or otherwise, and let the game fall by the wayside. But with Cataclysm, World of Warcraft is begging for those players to come back, and for new players who were put off by the comparatively painful old world to give it another chance. Warcraft has an ending like a fat burglar finishes dinner in a Twinkie factory.

He's kind of only done until he has the energy to open his mouth again. And speaking of, for those of you hoping to look back on your day with a real sense of accomplishment I'd go into Twinkie burglaring before World of Warcraft. Your adult-onset diabetes might not have as big a stamina bonus as your Bloodstained Elven Battlevest, but at least it's real.

I'm on board with the battlechest idea. Blizzard really needs to lower the price for new players who don't own the original and older two expansions.

The focus on those games has shifted and that content is solely for power leveling through to get to the current stuff. It shouldn't cost as much as a game you are really going to sit down and play.

I'm loving this expansion so far. I agree on the battlechest. I found out my account had been hacked and trashed, and I can't find my install dis anymore I tried cataclysm with a trial sub currently have some 70s I find the forced specialization lame. I missed the choice of 3 mains or 2 hybrid talent distribution. Dual talent spec activation is win.
